🌿Hi I’m Aroha
Confidence Isn't Found, It's Built. I Know Because I Built Mine From Scratch.
The question I get asked the most is, “How do I actually build confidence?”
For me, building confidence wasn't a choice; it was a necessity. It was a matter of survival. I left school at a young age to escape a toxic life of mental and physical abuse. I was often without the bare essentials, navigating survival mode with a smile that was a defense mechanism to keep the world out. As a young mother with little formal education, I had a fire within that screamed, “There has to be more in life for me.”
I spent years secretly self-sabotaging, wondering why others succeeded while I stayed stuck, allowing the pain of my past to dictate my future. My greatest breakthrough came when I realised I was letting my painful history be my destiny. I didn't need to live under the expectations of others or let old pain stop me. I needed to choose my own lane.
Slowly, guided by a quiet discernment within, I worked tirelessly, broke free of people-pleasing, and found the right mentors. From the ashes, I began the journey of healing, recognising my worth, and letting my faith become my beacon of light. I realised that being broken gave me a heart for the broken-hearted. That journey, the fight to rise above adversity, conquer deep-seated fear, and step into the woman I truly am, taught me one powerful, non-negotiable truth: Pain is not your home.
My Accreditation is My Story
When people ask what my accreditation is, I reply: “The biggest accreditation is my story of survival.”
I am living proof that we are all called and created for a purpose and made unique. My unique skillset was forged by combining life-saving instinct with strategic professionalism:
15+ years of experience as a Talent Manager in one of the toughest industries.
10 years in Finance, giving me a strategic, no-nonsense approach to business and negotiation.
This background earned me the reputation of a manager who gets results but leads with a Mama's Heart, a blend of fierce accountability and deep compassion.
My coaching began organically, clients started asking me to help them pursue their dreams. After seven years of coaching, I realised the single biggest adversity holding people back was their lack of worth, confidence, and purpose. This became my true purpose.
